It’s been an exciting several months. Way back in April, we had a blast on our first-ever Australia tour.
Kittel & Co.’s Nova Scotia stop will be at Celtic Colours Festival, and it’ll feature our special collaboration with Irish music heavyweight John Doyle.
A couple weeks ago, I had a great time playing in the house band for modern-day variety show Live From Here hosted by Chris Thile), and am stoked to be jumpin in the mix again on October 26.
We loved playing at the brand-new Bear Music Fest out in the Sierra Mountains a couple weeks ago...
And it was a busy summer at home in NYC, preparing for lots of exciting upcoming projects / recordings. In between the prep, I also really loved arranging & recording strings for Theo Katzman’s amazing upcoming record, and working with cellist Dave Eggar on an an Esperanza Spalding track for “Borderless Lullabies,” an album supporting K.I.N.D. (Kids in Need of Defense).
Looking ahead, in November, we’ll be assembling the big band for another midwest tour, with stops in Chicago on November 14 and November 17 at the Ark in good ol’ home turf Ann Arbor.
Hope to see you soon! Cheers,
-Jeremy
