Hello all! I’m so, SO deeply honored to have been nominated for “Best Instrumental Composition” alongside heroes and truly iconic composers like Terence Blanchard, Alan Silvestri, Alexandre Desplat, and Sir John Williams! This is a big honor for everyone in Kittel & Co. and all the beautiful souls who contributed to the record. It’s kind of amazing to see “Chrysalis” there alongside music for Avengers, Black KKKlansman, Shape of Water, and Star Wars, and in that way it’s a wonderful nod to string band-rooted music as well. Beyond honored!
