"Here's a lead sheet (PDF) for my tune 'Home in the World,' dedicated to journalist & fiddler Daniel Pearl. It has the melody, chords, and suggested ornamentation for 'Home in the World;' it also includes the exact fingering for the special variation using harmonics (as played on Whorls).
Many years ago I was deeply honored to be the first recipient of the Daniel Pearl Memorial Violin, made by Jonathan Cooper. I had always wanted to write a fiddle tune that paid tribute to Daniel, and this was the first tune that seemed to fit. I hope you enjoy playing it!"
